KNOCK 15 literary magazine design
Antioch University Seattle’s KNOCK literary magazine design was a cover-to-cover redesign of its long-running publication. We set out to design a new KNOCK logo and magazine that would command attention, bringing greater visibility and recognition to the literary and artistic works within. The issue’s theme, ‘Safe Word’, presented the opportunity to craft illustrations which reflect both literal meaning and plays on the concept, resulting in an imaginative, sociopolitical, artistic publication that showcases some inspired work by talented artists and writers. The magazine received high praise at publishing industry events.
